RankDeck by Notchbird
App Store keyword research, on your Mac.
RankDeck is an App Store optimization (ASO) tool for indie developers. Research keywords, track your app's search rank across markets and keep the evidence in one board on your Mac.
$39 USD once. For Apple silicon Macs on macOS 14 or later. Licence activation required.

From a search phrase to a decision.
Start with your app
Paste an App Store link or ID. Add the phrases your customers might search for and choose the markets you care about.
Check the opportunity
Read your current search position alongside demand and difficulty estimates. Open a result to inspect the apps behind the scores.
Keep what matters
Save keyword and market pairs to your board. Run another check after a listing change and compare it with your earlier results.
A research board.
Your own evidence.
Search results are different in every market. Compare your app across 175 storefronts, with the top results behind each score available to inspect.
- Check your position in current App Store search results.
- Explore suggestions from App Store autocomplete.
- Keep checks and history locally on your Mac.
Know what the
numbers can tell you.
Rank is your app's position in the search results. Demand and difficulty are 0–100 estimates derived from those results, including app ratings and market density.
They help you compare phrases. They are not Apple's search counts, a traffic forecast or a promise of downloads.
Built for the
next listing change.
Filter your saved board, compare rank history and edit local listing drafts. Keep your research and metadata drafts together as you work through each locale.

How are volume and difficulty calculated?
Volume is a 0–100 audience estimate from relevance-weighted ratings of the apps in the top search results, not Apple's search counts. Difficulty uses the log-scaled median rating count of up to 10 relevant results, adjusted for storefront density. Scores are withheld when fewer than 3 relevant apps are found. The evidence stays with every check.
