Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Notchbird Mac app and your subscription. They are written to be read.
Notchbird is made by Donncha O'Toole in Ireland ("we"). Questions go to [email protected].
Free trial
You can use every feature of Notchbird free for 14 days from first launch. No account or payment is needed. When the trial ends, agent alerts and the panel's sections need an active subscription.
Plans
Notchbird costs $24 per year, $3 per month, or $49 once for a lifetime licence, plus any VAT or sales tax due where you live. Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, and their buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. A lifetime licence is a single payment and includes every future version of Notchbird.
You can cancel any time from the link in your receipt email or at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders. Notchbird keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
Licence
While your subscription is active, or for good with a lifetime licence, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Notchbird on up to three Macs that you own or control, for personal or work use. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app or your licence key, or try to get around the licence check.
If Notchbird stops
If we ever stop developing or selling Notchbird, we will publish a final version that runs without a licence check, so anyone who paid can keep using it.
Refunds
See the refund policy. In short, any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep your statutory rights.
Your data
The privacy policy explains what Notchbird stores and sends.
Third-party tools
Notchbird works with Claude Code and Codex but is not made, endorsed or supported by Anthropic or OpenAI. Their names are used only to describe compatibility. Changes to those tools may affect how Notchbird reads their sessions, and we will work to keep up.
Warranty and liability
We work hard to make Notchbird reliable, but it is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Notchbird at any time. We may suspend a licence that is shared publicly or used to get around the licence check, after telling you why.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
